Diakonia is a two-year process of spiritual formation and theological education sponsored by the ELCA and our Synod. This is an excellent opportunity for those who really want to learn more about theology and ministry.

Classes meet weekly for 3 hours, each course is 5 sessions, of which there are 12 courses each year. Some topics of study are:
New Testament, Old Testament, Church History, Lutheran Creeds & Confessions, Practical Ministry, Christian Worship, Christian Ethics.

Classes start in September, at two locations in our Synod - the closest being at St. John's, Brookfield, Saturdays 9am - Noon. Cost: $360 year + books
