The psalmist declares, "Let them praise his name with dancing." Dancing, it is said, is a natural tendency to use gesture to express what words cannot say. Worship itself is about being moved to praise, pray, receive, and go ready to act on God's behalf in the world.

Aug 16 & 17 Idols or Inspiration: Art in Worship
The first commandment says, "You shall have no other gods." And yet visual images have inspired the faith of Christians for centuries. God is the potter, we are the clay - let what we see in worship help us see God.

Aug 23 & 24 Ministry Partners: Lutheran Social Services

Aug 30 & 31 God's Garden
The Bible is rich with images of gardens. It is however, a paradoxical image, representing both the place of life and of death. Many of us have gardens or yards that we tend for a harvest or for their beauty. Many of us enjoy the gardens, yards, or parks of others. May the garden be a place to encounter the grace of God.
