If you are visiting Our Savior's for the first time we have a Sunday School information table outside Fellowship Hall in the lower level staffed with volunteers to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.

What we offer every Sunday for your children:
Children's Church during the 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship services during the school year and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the summer.
Children's Church is a church service geared to kids ages 3 through fourth grade!
Older children can participate by being helpers. The same themes being used in the adult church are used, but in a child friendly format. Children's Church is led by Preschool Ministry Director, Marcie Nelson, our Elementary Ministry Director, and Middle School Ministry Director, Kris Gallert, along with a team of volunteers who make the service meaningful for your child. We encourage you to volunteer for this service. Contact Kris Gallert, 567-8349, ext. 17.
Sunday School: At 9:00 a.m. children ages 3-fourth grade begin in Fellowship Hall with an energizing opening. We sing, recognize birthdays, and get excited about God! Students in fifth-seventh grade begin in our youth room with ice breaker games, and "get to know you" activities. A Parent & 2 year old class and teacher(s) have their own special time together.
At 9:30 a.m. children and students break into their age levels and head to their classrooms. We pride ourselves on having very committed Sunday School teachers who are filled with enthusiasm. The curriculum focuses on teaching Bible stories and Bible points using games, drama, and crafts. We truly believe learning about God's word should be FUN!
Sunday School children ages 3 - fourth grade sing during our worship services once a month, sharing songs they learn during our opening time at 9:00 a.m.

Other Opportunities for Your Child:
Faith Friends & Bible Buddies: fellowship groups for children in 4K - fourth grade begins September 14 and runs through April 25. The groups focus on being a Christian friend and building friendships. Weekly themes & activities. Field trips for Faith Friends. Snacks provided. The group meets from 4:00-5:30 each week. Vacation Bible School SKY: Everything is Possible With God. June 11-15 from 9 AM-Noon and June 18 -22 from 1-4 PM. Children experience Bible Stories, Crafts, Games, Music, Snacks, Fun, Friends, and more! Thanks to our congregation and all of our many wonderful volunteers who make VBS possible for 300+ kids in our community!

Milestones in Your Child's Faith Life:
Baptism - children can be any age. This is truly the first step in becoming part of God's family. To schedule a baptism contact Marcie Nelson, marcie.nelson@oslc-wi.org or 567-8349, ext. 14.
Receive first Bible - three years old by Sept. 1.
Start Sunday School - three years old by Sept. 1; two years old by Sept. 1 for Parent & 2 yr. old class.
First Communion - third graders Worship Service in May, 2012.
Begin Confirmation - eighth grade. Confirmation meets Wed. nights at 6:30 PM.
